Chief Operating Officer

Kennett Area Community Service (KACS) is seeking a dedicated Chief Operating Officer to join our team. We’re seeking a bold, mission-driven COO to lead daily operations, support our team, and keep the lights on and the doors open for the communities we serve. This new role ensures our programs stay strong while our CEO focuses fully on fundraising, community partnerships and advocacy. This role reports directly to the Board of Directors and will manage all staff, programs, and internal systems. We’re looking for someone with operational excellence, people-centered leadership, and deep nonprofit experience—especially in times of change.

Emergency Assistance Advocate

Is a full-time position that is responsible for assessing the needs of participants in high-crisis, creating household stabilization plans with participants, and providing case management to participants experiencing a housing crisis.
