Kennett Area Community Service (KACS) is proud to announce Julie Bensen as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective August 25, 2025.
Julie brings nearly two decades of senior leadership experience, most recently overseeing global operations across 10 manufacturing and research facilities. Her track record includes leading diverse, multidisciplinary, and multilingual teams through times of growth transformation and challenge. But what stands out most is her people-first approach.
In a message to staff, Julie shared her excitement about joining the KACS family:
“From my very first interaction, I was inspired by the heart behind this organization and especially by the people who keep it moving every day. The impact KACS has in the community is meaningful, and I feel incredibly lucky to be stepping into this role alongside such a passionate and dedicated group.”

She has a proven track record of empowering individuals, fostering collaboration across differences, and creating environments where people can grow and succeed: values that align seamlessly with the community-centered mission of KACS.
