Lifting our Community

We all want the best for our families: a secure home, healthy meals, and a community in which to thrive – a community dedicated to helping one another so all our neighbors have food to eat and a safe home to live in.

These basic human necessities are not available to everyone. According to Feeding Pennsylvania, 1 in 9 residents struggle with hunger; that’s over 12,000 people in Southern Chester County. 

At KACS, we strengthen our community – one family at a time – by providing healthy food, crisis services, housing solutions, and an educational path forward for our neighbors in need. We do not turn away anyone who needs food, nor do we charge for any services we provide; this is especially important today as rent, utilities, and food prices continue to rise. When families come to KACS for financial and nutritional support, they also learn about the educational support we offer to help them break the cycle of poverty. 

We are asking for your help to lift people up and strengthen our community. KACS is planning to raise $50,000 to fund our many life-sustaining programs.
