We’re excited to announce KACS’ 15th Annual Empty Bowls event on February 27, 2026, featuring lunch, dinner, and take-out options!
The Empty Bowls Project is an international grassroots movement that took root here in Kennett Square more than a decade ago. This cherished community tradition brings people together to raise funds and awareness in support of KACS’ mission to end hunger and feed hope.
Monthly, KACS Food Cupboard serves over 3,500 individuals with healthy, nutritious food, and 100 households received case management from KACS Social Services. KACS Housing Initiative is creating a scattered portfolio of attainable, affordable housing in our communities and we provide an educational path forward with a series of workshops to support those moving out of poverty.
Join KACS at St. Michael Lutheran Church for lunch, take-out, or dinner. Empty Bowls seating includes a light meal of soup, salad, bread, and dessert. Choose your handmade bowl created especially for KACS Empty Bowls by local artists.
Lunch – 12:00-2:00pm
Take-out – 3:00-5:00pm
